If Everyday was Sock Monkey Day!

Oh wait! it is for me. I’m surrounded by Red Heel socks and boxes and boxes of sock monkeys. I make them, I package them, I ship them. I also photograph them, draw them and love them. Yes, I still love sock monkeys. Thank God, if I didn’t like them, my job would really suck.

I’ve been trying to get ahead on making the little buggers, but never can seem to have extra on hand. Where’s the sock monkey elves when you need them. Christmas is coming and Santa is breathing down my neck. I tried to tell him I’m technically Jewish, but he didn’t care. He still wants his sock monkeys.

I’m currently working on a two in a half foot tall Super Sock Monkey for the NC State Fair. He is pretty awesome. I have him standing in the living room. He scared my wife when she walked by him this morning. If you’re in the Raleigh area in October come to the fair and check him out.
