Where does the time go?

Another week gone by. Where does the time go? I only made three sock monkeys this week… Slow week. I did make a really cool Fez Monkey for someone in Australia. I love the fact that my handmade sock monkeys are all over the world. I might not be famous yet, but maybe someday.

I’ve started stressing about Christmas… Now is the time to start preparing for the Holiday. Even with the sorry state of things and the poor economy, I will have my hands full sewing away for Santa. I’m Santa’s long lost cranky elf. You might not have heard of me? “Mitch the cranky elf” who pokes holes in his fingers with needles sewing hundreds of sock monkeys every Christmas. It was an animated special on a cable channel. It was a flop. Who wants to see a Holiday special about a cursing cranky elf with sore fingers who makes sock monkeys. It was kinda funny though. 

That’s it for today, I’m taking a break from sewing and calling my union about vacation time.
